Who is responsible
GSDEV, the engineering division of GS Group, Johannesburg South, Gauteng, South Africa, is the responsible party for personal information collected through gsdev.co.za. Contact: info@gsdev.co.za.
What we collect
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, and any phone number, company name and project details you choose to send.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses, pages requested and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on these pages. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to prepare and deliver quotations and projects.
- To support products and systems we have delivered to you.
- To keep this website secure.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We share enquiry details with GSMAN, our manufacturing division, only when your enquiry involves assembly, production or repair. Our hosting and email providers process information on our behalf. We do not otherwise share personal information unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after two years. Project records are kept for as long as we support the product and as required by law.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. Email info@gsdev.co.za. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
